Today, my mom and my brother went to the dentist. I thought we were only checking our teeth, but we both had wobbly tooth, so we picked it. Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! My brother cried. I was so unhappy, but I laughed. I believe in the tooth fairies. Do you?????

A Type 4 Sentence has a subject, a verb, an indirect object, and a direct object. This type of sentence shows who is receiving something and what is being given.

Examples

I give her a gift.
- I (subject) + give (verb) + her (indirect object) + a gift (direct object)
They send me a letter.
- They + send + me + a letter
She told him a story.
- She + told + him + a story

Features

Two Objects: There is an indirect object (the person receiving something) and a direct object (the thing being given).
Clear Action: It shows who is doing the action, who is receiving the action, and what the action is directed toward.
