Hangul Day is for King Sejong, who made Hangul. It is on October 9th and shows how Hangul helped people.

King Sejong made Hangul in 1443 to help people read and write. Hangul is easy and still used today.

Hangul has 14 consonants and 10 vowels. It is simple, beautiful, and easy to learn.

Clear Action: It shows who is doing the action, who is receiving the action, and what the action is directed toward.
