I had fun at the pool with slides and water guns. We laughed and splashed a lot.

I went to a water park with friends. We played with water guns and slides.

After playing, I sat with my family and ate snacks. My brother and I looked for stars and felt happy.

Examples

I give her a gift.
- I (subject) + give (verb) + her (indirect object) + a gift (direct object)
They send me a letter.

She told him a story.

Features

Two Objects: There is an indirect object (the person receiving something) and a direct object (the thing being given).
Clear Action: It shows who is doing the action, who is receiving the action, and what the action is directed toward.
